Car Log user guide

Three tabs

• Car: the odometer, the consumption, the cost per mile, what is To do and what is Coming up, for the car you choose at the top.
• Log: every fill-up, service and expense month by month, filtered by kind; the trips too.
• Costs: the total by month or year, charts, reports and exports.

Three buttons

At the bottom of Car: Fill-up, Service and Expense. A car is created the first time you name it; Vehicles, in the ⋮ menu, holds each car's details.

The guide

• Fill-ups and charges — What to enter, and how the consumption is worked out.
• Services and reminders — Log what was done, and the app tells you what is next.
• Expenses and renewals — Everything else the car costs.
• Costs and reports — What the car costs, and the papers to show it.
• Trips and the mileage report — Optional: record the trips, for a mileage claim or a tax return.
• My data — Where your log lives, and how to move it.

Settings

The ⋮ menu of Car opens the Settings: the Distance unit, the Fuel unit, the Consumption format, the Currency, the Rates for trips, and My data.
